For sale is my Renault Megane 16V Expression 5 door hatchback. This is one of the more sought after models that has extras. The car has a manual gear box and was first registered 06/01/2011 (on a 55 plate).
Below I will list the pros and cons:
Pros
MOT till April 3rd 2012 - Carried out by Kwik Fit and not some dodgy garage. Still have the invoice and passed with no advisories.
Tax till Feb 2012- Its £165.00 for 12 months which isn't too bad considering it goes all the way upto £400+ for gas gusslers
Does around 41MPG
Has VGS (Vehicle Guarantee Services Ltd Registered No: 6030239) which expires 07/03/2012
Has the Renault Smart Card Key not the conventional key... More secure as it is very difficult to start the car without it
Its had a lot of work done via the waranty company... If there were any little minor problems the first think I'd do is claim.
I have changed the brake disks and pads about 3 months ago to the fine tune of £300.00.
Big boot for the size car
Low insurance group 8
The interior is in good condition... Has been a kid and smoke free car. Will even chuck in a brand new california scents air freshner to keep it smelling fresh for a couple of miles
Will come with the standard Renault CD player/radio
Tinted windows
Has alloys/rims... They are a bit scuffed but can be refurbished for £25.00 a wheel if that really bothers you
Low mileage 76 300 miles... May change as I'll be doing the odd supermarket run here and there

Has the wiring in the car to connect a bass box/sub upto 2000W... 8 Gauge wire
Log book present
Electric Windows
The doors automatically lock which is good for people with kids and good in general as there is a lot of car theft out there
Has child lock which also stops people in the back opening the windows
Electric Mirrors
Air bags... Did you know that the Megane is 5* Euro NCAP safety rated.
Upgraded speakers... Sound from aftermarket head units are amazing
Has the original user's manual and the leather pouch it comes in
Rain sensitive wind screen wipers
Automatic head lights
Fog lights
Cons
Scrape on the bumper because of a retarded neighbour that doesn't know how to get out of a parking space.
The wing mirror silver cap that would benefit a lick of paint or a new one
The wing mirror silver casing may need replacing
The alloys/rims are scuffed
Why am I selling the car?
I'm selling the car as I passed my motorcycle test and prefer riding. I have done about 200 miles in my car in 2 months so there is really no point of having an extra car in the house hold which is costing me money for no reason what so ever. Its pointless.
Can I test drive?
As long as I have the agreed price in my hand I couldn't care less if you have insurance to drive the car. Just remember if you damage the car in any way you've just bought it no arguments.
