It is a story about my adventures during the whole summer of 2004, when I set sail from Eastbourne to sail round Britain on my Laser. I was unsupported, and camped every night on any beaches I could find. I had everything strapped to the boat, and didn't lose too much gear on the way round. I was sponsored by Yachts and Yachting, who kindly donated a sail, and covered my progress in their fortnightly magazine. I did the challenge for Prostate Cancer Charity, and you can still donate to the Charity at www.justgiving.com/ronsailing.

I am now looking forward to more Laser adventures. Having ran in the New York and London Marathons, I hope to link the 2 together by sailing from New York to London on a Laser, but I need a mother boat to accompany me. This time my chosen Charity will be the RNLI, as I know from first hand experience what a marvelous job they do voluntarily.
